“As a nutrition professional myself, Georgia is an asset to our profession. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated to helping people meet their goals. As a presenter she is both effective and entertaining. She is a great educator.”

“I am an emotional eater! Georgia has been able to peal away years of pain and putting others first. She has helped me focus on how important I am. She has a very gentle and kind way about her. You instantly love her! She has taught me clean, healthy eating and to value food that comes from the earth, not processed factory food. Eating should be savored. She has taught me nutrition, physical activity, and relaxation techniques. Then the weight will come off. Her positive ways ,beautiful smile ,and wealth of knowledge are such encouragement each week. You are privileged to see her!”

“I had been living with pain, poor sleep, chronic inflammation, and arthritis for years. Finally, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that can not be cured. It changed the medical professional’s view of how to “treat” me. Doctors tried to treat me with medication that made me more sick than the illness did. When I finally refused the medication I was told that there was nothing more that could be done. Nancy provided me with a way to take some control back over my health and pain level. I don’t have to just sit and wait for my symptoms to pass. I have a daily yoga regimen that works for me. My flare ups are now fewer and further between. Additionally, when I do have a bad day I now know what I can do to try to help myself instead of depending on the traditional western medical professionals who have never been able to assist me. Nancy worked with my schedule, checked in on me after sessions, and followed up after my treatment with her was complete. I am lucky to have been a client of Nancy’s. Yoga therapy empowered me to take control of my body and my health.”
“I have a problem with anxiety from different stresses in life, like many other people, and when younger was able to just push past these problems. A lifetime of being strong and dealing had left me feeling like I was drowning. I decided that there had to be a better way and Nancy advised me about Yoga Therapy. We discussed in detail exactly what I was feeling and the specifics of my anxiety, like not sleeping well and not being able to shut my brain down and relax. Although I am at an easier time in my life…retired, kids grown, good health, financially okay, my anxiety was getting worse and worse and I was withdrawing more and more. Nancy taught me specific exercises, breathing techniques and meditation which has enabled me to substantially reduce my anxiety. I feel that the breathing and meditation are absolutely key in this process. I can relax my body and brain and fall asleep and get a more restful sleep. I can prioritize and rationalize problems and they don’t get blown out of proportion and jumbled together. I practice this technique just about every day and am thankful that it just makes me feel lighter and more positive. I can’t thank Nancy enough for offering me this new path.
