Creamy Avocado Pesto

Preparation: 10 minutes

Serves: 6


1 large bunch of basil

2 ripe avocados

½ cup of walnuts

1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

3-4 cloves garlic

½ teaspoon sea salt

¼ cup water

¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil

ground pepper to taste


Remove basil leaves from stems. Combine all ingredients in food processor and pulse until creamy.

Serve over pasta or spiraled zucchini for a healthy alternative. Add cherry tomatoes for a pop of flavor and color
